+ Calm

Seung-uk is quite laid back when it comes to the everyday aspects of life and events. He doesn't really fret much or gets annoyed easily and will indulge his friends pretty much 100% of the time. Wanna go shopping or watch bad movies? He’s got you.

+ Easygoing

He doesn't take things too to heart or seriously and is able to accept things as they come to make the best out of the hand he's handled, so he’ll try his best that he and those around him have a good time even if the current activity isn’t something he particularly enjoys.

Even if he disagrees with others or doesn't particularly agree with the way a conversation is going, he will still conduct himself politely and will try his best to respect boundaries established to him.

Tied to his competitive nature, at times, he can get to a point of defiance where he’ll disagree with someone for the sake of disagreeing if he’s mad or bored enough. This is especially true when he’s going through a lot of stress and discontent in his life.

[Biography]

Seung-uk grew up no different than many other kids of his generation. Being the youngest of a modest family of four in Seoul, Korea, he was often spoiled by his parents and picked on by his oldest siblings. But his parents' devotion to their children also translated into strict rules and expectations, so Seung-uk and his siblings lived under regulations that demanded they did their absolute best to prepare for life on the outside world.

This was particularly hard for Seung-uk to handle during his teenage years, as balancing his social life, home and school obligations and also trying to find his passion and life goals was making him see the world around him quite dully. This caused him to isolate and neglect all that was a source of stress until the swim team at his school began to recruit members. Fascinated by the discipline but freedom that came with this, Seung-uk joined the team and found his best friend in the water. Since he was 15 and up until graduating high school, Seung-uk was part of the swim team and his peers in it served as a support system that carried him all the way to the finish line. But even after he parted with high school, he knew where his heart was.

Surely, pursuing sports professionally was something that his parents did not consider a serious career path, so it took some persuading for Seung-uk to receive his parent's blessing. Noting how insanely dedicated their son was to this, and taking into account how Seung-uk's demeanor had changed for the better ever since he joined the swimming club, his parents finally decided to support his decision and reluctantly stood by his side as Seung-uk enrolled in Hanwool College to be part of the Swimming Department.

Nowadays he diligently follows the swimming sports world while he sharpens his own abilities and works hard for what he wants. Being a sophomore, he expects to be better with each experience and also makes sure he is always having fun and making friends along the way.

Seung-uk dreams and works very hard to become a successful athlete and wishes to bring a lot of pride to his school and family by way of medals and other rewards for his achievements. He also dreams of establishing himself not only nationally, but internationally. On a more personal level, he hopes to develop real and meaningful connections with others, and secretly hopes to have a found family in Hanwool.

He has piercings he removes while at Hanwool and a few discrete tattoos.

He has an interest in fashion and outside of school he will be seen in casual clothes accessorized with ties, tight pants, classy shoes and eye liner.

He enjoys being talked to about feelings. Given that he had to hold so much of his own unhappiness when he was still living at home, he’s learnt to understand how important it is for everyone to have somebody to trust that they can go to whenever they are hurting, even if they think the reason for their pain is ‘small’ or ‘stupid’. To Seung-uk, it never is.

He’ll call you out on your bullshit. For your own good. But will also indulge you way too much. He’s versatile like that.
